Nofollow Link is Now a Hint for Crawling and Indexing, says Google

Benthic: Well, this seems like what happened in 2005, when Google introduced the possibility of no-follow, and there was a wide chaos in the SEO business. I feel this is something relative, and this is something Google has been achieving for quite a while. Despite the way that Google said that the no-follow associations would not be crawled, there are events where despite giving a no-follow interface, the target URLs get recorded. This has been happening for quite a while, and there's a clarification for it. If you take the instance of Forbes and consider that they have a bewildering article on SEO, and they interface out to our site and there is an ad near that likewise, Google will give more thought to those associations paying little mind to you crediting them as no follow.
